Did you know that more than half the population suffer from unexplained exhaustion?
One of the definitions of EXHAUSTION is the action of using something up or the state of being used up 😳
So are we using up our resources more than we should? Are we pushing ourselves to the limit? Do we not have or give ourselves the time to regenerate our energy? This is why self-care time is really important, it should never be a luxury – its a necessity!
How do we know the symptoms we are having are related to this….?
Headaches, Insomnia, dizziness, sore and aching muscles, difficulty in making decisions, anxiety, depression are all symptoms of exhaustion and fatigue. However, if we were just to treat the symptom for example a headache, whether you are using something natural or not, that headache is going to come back again and again!
You do also have to consider underlying physiological reasons such as low blood pressure , under and over active thyroid gland, anaemia or iron deficiency, rheumatoid arthritis etc, and of course lets not forget ME!
Although it is estimated that over 40% of cases of tiredness are caused by psychological or life style reasons, which can be worked on if they were recognised. The work place is always a good place to start, what environment are you working in? Diet and exercise are also very important as well as getting a good nights sleep.
Essential oils have a history of helping in different kinds of tiredness, exhaustion and fatigue. They can calm our minds, help us sleep, stimulate our immune system, clear our minds and help our nervous system to relax, give us energy, help stimulate our organs, uplift us and balance our emotions helping us bring balance to mind, body and soul.

Remember that Peppermint or Basil should not be used in the bath. The best way of using these oils are in massage where you can use 30ml of carrier oil to the blends, almond is good or simply use 6- 8 drops of the synergistic blend in your diffuser 40 mins on 20 mins off
